Purpel Energy, a Hamburg-based developer and operator of utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS), has selected Entrix to optimize and market its first battery storage project in Remscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia. The 5.15 MW / 12.2 MWh system is scheduled to start its commercial operation in September 2026.

The battery storage system in Balzhausen, developed by green flexibility, has an output of 40 megawatts (MW) and a capacity of just under 90 megawatt-hours (MWh) and has been successfully in commercial operation for several weeks. Entrix is responsible for the AI-powered optimization and marketing of the asset, demonstrating how battery storage systems can be operated economically even with limited grid connection capacities.

The Turośń Kościelna project brings one of Poland's first operational grid-scale battery energy storage systems into commercial operation, helping transform Poland's growing battery storage pipeline into operational flexibility for the electricity system.

Entrix, Europe’s leading AI-powered optimizer and trader for battery energy storage systems (BESS), has signed an optimization agreement with the renewable energy company Low Carbon for the Przeworsk BESS project in Podkarpackie Voivodeship, Poland.

DRI has selected Entrix as optimization partner for its 133 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) in Trzebinia, southern Poland. The project is among the first large-scale battery assets in Poland to secure a 17-year Capacity Market contract, commencing in 2027, and is currently the largest BESS in the country with a capacity market obligation starting that year.

RelyAssets and Entrix are advancing the development of a battery storage project in Puławy, Poland. The 4 MW / 16 MWh project was successfully financed with international retail investors and will contribute to increasing flexibility in the Polish energy system.

Entrix is taking on the optimization and commercialization of a 144 MWh co-location battery storage system for The Dillinger Group in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Germany). The project combines a large-scale battery storage system with a photovoltaic plant and is scheduled to go live at the end of June 2026.

Greenvolt Power, part of Greenvolt Group, and Entrix, have signed an exclusive agreement for the optimization and trading of five large-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Poland, with a total capacity of 1.3 GW and 5.2 GWh.  

Aquila Clean Energy EMEA has initiated two of the most advanced and largest battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Germany, selecting Entrix to manage the optimization and market participation of these projects as they enter the German market

WV Energie AG is building its first battery energy storage system (BESS) in the Wertachtal region of Bavaria, with a capacity of 6.88 MWh. The system is connected to the grid via the grid connection point of a WV-operated solar park but operates fully independently. Entrix has been selected to handle the technical optimization and commercial marketing of the asset across all relevant energy markets.

A new battery storage system with 30 MW power and 65 MWh capacity is currently under construction in the city of Worms, Rhineland-Palatinate. To optimize and market the asset, W Power Renewables GmbH has selected Entrix as its strategic partner. The Munich-based technology company will market the storage unit across all relevant electricity markets using its AI-based trading platform. 

Entrix will be responsible for the multi-market optimization of a 55 MWh battery storage system in Beckum, jointly developed by evb, Westenergie, and ESY. The facility will strengthen local grid stability and enable more efficient use of renewable energy.
